Growing up I didn't play sports, but did dabble in gymnastics. I started weightlifting shortly after high school, just your basic lifting at a local gym with little knowledge of Olympic lifts. It was working fairly well for me, but then I just quit it all for a few years and got fat. I had a hard time starting any new routine because I was so out of shape. But then in 2010 I found Crossfit and have been doing it ever since! I have a strong passion for Crossfit and teaching (I was almost a high school teacher).
